AboutHouseplants
The fastest way to make a room feel alive. Houseplants do something paint and furniture can't — they grow, they change, they react to the space they're in. A few well-placed plants warm up a room more than almost any decor move.
Whether you want a low-light survivor for the bathroom or a statement tree for the corner of the living room, there's a houseplant that fits the space and the schedule.
Browse easy-care classics, trendy newcomers, and statement specimens — all greenhouse-grown and shipped well-rooted.
Frequently asked questions
How often should I water my houseplant?
It depends on the plant, the pot, and the room. As a general rule, water when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch — overwatering kills more houseplants than underwatering.
What houseplants do best in low light?
Snake plants, ZZ plants, pothos, and Chinese evergreen are some of the most reliable picks for rooms with limited natural light.
Are houseplants safe for pets?
It varies. Many popular houseplants are pet-safe, but some — including pothos, philodendron, and many lilies — are toxic to cats and dogs. Always check before bringing a new plant into a pet household.
