About Flowering Vines

Color that climbs. Flowering vines combine the structure of a climber with the payoff of a flowering shrub — vertical interest plus weeks (or months) of bloom on the same plant.

They're tailor-made for arbors over benches, pergolas above dining areas, mailbox posts, and the kind of fence line that needs a personality transplant. Pollinators love them; so do hummingbirds.

Browse clematis, jasmine, mandevilla, honeysuckle, and other flowering climbers, each grown at our nursery and shipped ready to take off.

Frequently asked questions

What's the longest-blooming flowering vine?

Mandevilla and bougainvillea bloom continuously from spring through fall in warm climates. In cooler zones, reblooming clematis varieties give you multiple flushes from late spring into early autumn.

Do flowering vines need a trellis?

Yes — most need some kind of support to climb. A trellis, arbor, pergola, fence, or even a sturdy wire grid works, depending on the vine.

Are flowering vines hard to grow?

Most are surprisingly easy. Give them sun, well-drained soil, and something to climb, and they'll do most of the work themselves.
