How do I pick the right pot size for my plant?

Choose a pot that's 1–2 inches wider in diameter than the plant's current root ball. Going much bigger can hold extra moisture around the roots and lead to rot.

Do all pots need a drainage hole?

Yes — drainage is essential for almost every plant. Decorative pots without drainage are best used as cachepots: place a smaller, draining nursery pot inside and lift it out to water.

What's the difference between a planter and a cachepot?

A planter is meant to hold soil and the plant directly, with drainage built in. A cachepot is decorative — it holds the nursery pot inside without contacting the soil.

  • Where do you ship from, and how fast?

    Orders ship from our facility in York, SC via USPS or FedEx to all 48 contiguous states. Most orders leave within 3–5 business days, with an additional 2–5 days in transit.

  • How are plants packaged for safe transit?

    Each plant is secured in its pot, the root ball is stabilized, and the container is braced inside a corrugated shipping box to keep it upright. Larger trees ship in custom crating.

  • What happens if a plant arrives damaged?

    We back every order with a 30-day plant guarantee. If a plant arrives damaged or doesn't establish within 30 days, we replace it at no cost — just send a photo and your order number to info@livegoodlogistics.com.

  • Can I request a plant that isn't in the catalog?

    Possibly. Our nursery network covers a wide range of species and sizes. Reach out with what you're looking for and we'll see if we can source it.

  • Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally?

    We ship to all 48 contiguous states. Due to agricultural shipping restrictions, we don't ship to Alaska or Hawaii, and we don't offer international shipping at this time.

  • How do I track my order?

    As soon as your order ships, you'll receive an email with tracking information. You can also log in to your account to see order status and history.
