How to Use MitoGrow™ Pots & Planters
Use this when planting or maintaining any container plant—indoors or outdoors. Follow these steps for best results.
New Container Planting
- Choose a pot with drainage holes.
- Fill with quality potting mix (not garden soil).
- Mix MitoGrow™ into the soil per label rate before planting.
- Place plant at same depth as nursery pot.
- Backfill, press soil gently—don’t compact.
- Water deeply until water drains out the bottom.
- Keep soil evenly moist (not soggy) for 2–3 weeks while roots establish.
Watering Technique
- Water slowly until the entire root ball is soaked.
- Let excess drain—never let pots sit in standing water.
- Check soil 1–2 inches down; water when dry at that depth.
Routine Care
- Apply MitoGrow™ regularly (follow label frequency).
- Fertilize every 2–4 weeks during active growth.
- Rotate indoor pots for even light exposure.
- Prune dead or weak growth to encourage new shoots.
After Stress (Heat, Overwatering, Transplant)
- Trim damaged leaves.
- Apply MitoGrow™ to support recovery.
- Adjust watering—reduce if overwatered, increase if heat-stressed.
- Keep plant in indirect light until stable.
Container Tips
- Use larger pots to reduce drying out.
- Add mulch on top to retain moisture.
- Ensure good airflow indoors to prevent disease.
Consistent watering and proper drainage are the keys to success.
