AboutFlowering Trees

The reason people stop and stare. Flowering trees turn an ordinary yard into a seasonal event — clouds of pink, white, or purple blossoms that mark the start of spring better than any calendar.

Beyond the wow factor, they pull serious weight: pollinators love them, real-estate listings love them, and a row along a driveway will outclass anything else you could plant for the price.

Our collection covers cherry, dogwood, redbud, magnolia, and crape myrtle in landscape-ready sizes, so you're not waiting three years for the first bloom.

Frequently asked questions

When do flowering trees bloom?

Most flower in early to mid spring, though some — like crape myrtle — push their show into summer. Mixing varieties can give you blooms from March through July.

How long do flowering trees stay in bloom?

It depends on the species and the weather. A typical cherry or dogwood holds full bloom for 1–2 weeks; crape myrtles can flower for 60–90 days during the heat of summer.

Do flowering trees attract bees and butterflies?

Yes — most flowering trees are excellent pollinator plants. Cherries, redbuds, and crabapples are particularly popular with native bees and early-season butterflies.
