How to Use Root Stimulant When Planting
- 1. Prepare the planting hole: Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and just as deep. Loosen the soil around the edges to help roots spread easily.
- 2. Mix Root Stimulant into soil: Combine the recommended amount (check product label) of Root Stimulant with the backfill soil. This ensures even distribution of beneficial microbes near the roots.
- 3. Position the plant: Place the plant in the hole so the top of the root ball is level with or slightly above ground level. This prevents water pooling around the base.
- 4. Backfill and firm: Fill in the hole with your soil/Root Stimulant mix. Gently firm the soil to eliminate air pockets without compacting it too much.
- 5. Water deeply: Saturate the root zone thoroughly right after planting. This helps activate the stimulant and settles the soil around the roots.
