Grow Better With Cotton Filters
These high airflow filters give your substrate and mycelium fresh air while maintaining high humidity levels. Manufactured with a strong 3M adhesive backing, these filters are made from 100% Cotton filter material and sized to fit over 1" holes. Filters are slightly larger than monotub holes and are designed to keep out foreign spores and other contaminants. FAQs

FAQs: 1" Adhesive Monotub 100% Cotton Disc Filters

1. What makes these cotton disc filters different from other filter options?
These filters are made from 100% cotton, a natural high-airflow material that allows for effective gas exchange while keeping humidity levels high. They're a more organic alternative to synthetic filters and come with strong 3M adhesive backing for easy setup.

2. How do I apply them to my monotub?
Simply peel off the backing and stick the filter over a 1" hole. The filters are sized slightly larger than the hole to ensure full coverage and a secure seal.

3. Are these filters reusable?
These are intended for one-time use. Reusing them could compromise their ability to block contaminants and reduce airflow efficiency.

4. Will cotton filters hold up in humid conditions?
Yes—they’re designed specifically for high-humidity environments like mushroom monotubs. They maintain structure and airflow while resisting sagging or clogging during fruiting stages.

5. Why choose cotton over PTFE or polyfill?
Cotton offers a more natural filtration method, with great airflow and strong contaminant resistance. Compared to polyfill, cotton filters are quicker to install and more consistent. Compared to PTFE, they may offer a more breathable option depending on your environment and species.
